How do we make Toraphene? We have a novel proprietary method for making the only material that has all the properties we need for a genuine plastic alternative.

nATURAL POLYMERS
Toraphene’s first ingredient is natural polymers like starch and algae. These are completely natural, compostable, and non-polluting. Unlike the synthetic polymers used to make conventional plastics.
Compostable PELLETS
The natural polymers are made into compostable biopolymer pellets. These can be made into fully ocean-compostable packaging. But packaging made from biopolymers alone will not be strong enough or heat-resistant enough or impermeable enough to actually replace plastics.
